Crystal joined Phase2 as a shiny brand-new UX person. Her career transition from teaching to UX has been nothing short of extraordinary. At the start, if you didn't know that she was new to UX, you wouldn't be able to tell from listening to her talk about her work or looking at her work products. She is not afraid of asking questions. She chases down answers - both small and large - with grace and curiosity. She persists in the many small and large efforts she is tasked with.

She creates work opportunities and follows through every time. She has the user at the forefront of her mind and keeps them there. She shares her knowledge with her coworkers early and often. She continues to learn how to improve her skills in our design tools and share that info with the larger team.

Working on the embedded team project we share is challenging and can feel a bit distant from our co-workers at the Phase2 agency, but Crystal continues to improve her UX skills, her teamwork skills, her presentation skills, and I hope I get to work with her for a long, long time.

Crystal is fast, efficient, and handles ambiguity incredibly well. It's always a delight working with a talented designer who can take a few vague ideas and come back hours later with a mockup to focus the discussion. She's a dream to collaborate with, as well — she takes in all kinds of feedback and turns it into great user experiences.

Crystal and I joined Phase2 and a shared project at around the same time. Her skills are constantly on display throughout all of her work every day, especially her ability to stay cool, calm, flexible, and focused even during stressful times. She is incredibly organized and always thinking outside the box to solve problems in the best way possible, and is always thinking of ways to do things better. She is an amazing team player and always willing to jump in and collaborate to help others do their best work as well.

Crystal is always an incredible team mate, but she has somehow stepped it up even more working on an exceptionally complicated project recently. Things have been hectic with vacations and a very complex moving target, and I've relied really heavily on Crystal to keep everything moving. She's always calm, prepared, and ready, and has just been an absolute rock in all the chaos. She is an asset to any team she's on and always there to jump in and help!

Crystal is wonderful to work with, and has exceptional expertise in UI/UX design. She consistently demonstrated a solid work ethic and a dedication to success. She is not only a reliable and forward-thinking professional but also an inspiring team player.
